Finding a job in the UK

If you are on a student visa of more than 6 months you are allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week. If your visa is for 6 months or as a tourist, then you are unable to work in the UK.

If you are a EU citizen than you are able to work as much as you like. You should be aware that many employers want at least enough English skills to understand health and safety issues in the UK.

A local recruitment agency is always on the lookout for waiting staff, chefs and other kitchen staff. They also have part itme jobs for full time students and full time jobs for part time students
